How They Work
The main part of a refrigerative cooler (air conditioner) is a compressor, which uses a huge amount
of power. The compressor compresses the cold gas cooleant to liquid through the condenser (a coil of pipes). When it compresses
inside the condenser, the cooleant gets hot. A fan blows the heat from the condenser outside. After going through the
condenser, the cooleant goes through an expansion valve, which lets the cooleant slow down. Then the cooleant enters the evaporator
at low pressure. The low pressure causes the cooleant to evaporate, making it very cold. The evaporater is a coil of pipes.
Then the cooleant enters the compresser again.
